Thamesmead 'B' Lake (lake 78b)
Members are allowed to night fish all Club waters
Members only - Fishing is allowed all year.
Thamesmead 'B' lake has good pedestrian access all round the lake, with limited parking close to some swims. However cars must NOT be driven past the 'No vehicles beyond this point' signs, anybody caught doing so may be disciplined by the Club.
This lake holds carp, pike, perch, roach, bream and tench, some of specimen size. Carp over 20lb are caught and the lake can produce some excellent tench and bream fishing for those wishing to concentrate on these species. In May 2009 a 12lb 4oz bream was caught and an 11lb tench was reported in July 2008.
ÊThe lake contains signal crayfish, which at times can be a bit of a nuisance, but it is worth persevering, as the quality of fish in this lake is excellent.
