Upper River Thames
Members are allowed to night fish all Club waters
Members only - Fishing is allowed from 16 June until 14 March annually.
The Club has a short stretch of the Upper River Thames, which is quite overgrown in places. However, when conditions are right, sections of the river can provide members with some enjoyable fishing. The stretch is located in the Thamesmead complex and runs downstream from the bridge over the river (just after you have entered the complex) to the access gate to Thamesmead 'C' Lake. We only have the fishing on the left bank i.e. the bank nearest the track (Consult your permit).
The river is only really fishable in Winter, when there is plenty of water, but can give sport with dace, roach, chub, the occasional pike and even the odd barbel. Don't always expect small fish, despite its size the river can produce the occasional surprise.
